É bom estar rodeado de pessoas inspiradoras e que se entreajudam.

A entreajuda e a construção de objetivos comuns é uma das mais gratificantes experiências de vida.

Assim é com a recuperação desta vinha centenária que parcialmente ficou destruída com o incêndio.

Vamos agora partilhar em primeira mão este pequeno milagre que estamos a viver.

Se é certo que fomos vítimas de um violento incêndio, também é certo que conseguimos virar esta página da história, transportando tudo o que de bom do passado já vinha e deixando para trás o que lá tinha de ficar.

Em três pontos explicaremos o que de extraordinário aconteceu:

I. O refortalecimento das redes sociais na aldeia e com as vilas e cidades vizinhas;

II. O colocar esta pequena vinha “nas bocas do mundo”, apelando a uma visão integrada e em rede do desenvolvimento local;

III. O trazer para as nossas vidas muitas pessoas que partilham da mesma paixão pela sustentabilidade, agricultura biológica e biodinâmica, pelas vinhas e vinhos naturais, pelo campo, de uma forma geral por uma visão positiva e cuidada do meio ambiente que nos rodeia e do qual não nos podemos separar.

O que aprendemos com cada um destes pontos:

* As pessoas localmente são a força deste projeto, sem elas não seria possível recuperar as vinhas. O empenho diário e dedicação tem sido assim desde sempre e assim continuará a ser. A grande homenagem vai para elas que sofrendo o flagelo do fogo ainda tiveram força para nos ajudar e assim se ajudarem também a elas.

* Este evento extremo, relacionado com a alteração do clima, vem demonstrar que o esforço global é a chave para ultrapassar aquilo que individualmente é inatingível. É bom trabalhar em conjunto aos diversos níveis. O ambiente tona-se o bom da fita e não o vilão, passa a ser o promotor da economia e não o contrário. É dele que dependemos é dele que vivemos.

* Finalmente um movimento de solidariedade surgiu ao nível da partilha de conhecimento, experiências e da vontade de fazer acontecer. Todos os minutos foram bem aproveitados e bem geridos por aqueles que se envolveram na recuperação da vinha. Universidades, Associações, Centros de Investigação de Viticultura, poder local e central, fornecedores de serviços ou de materiais.

Foi um pequeno milagre que veio para ficar e que se percebe ainda melhor provando os vinhos, visitando as vinhas e partilhando entre todos os avanços alcançados.

An excellent restart

It's good to be surrounded by inspiring people who help each other.

The construction of common goals is one of the most rewarding experiences in life.

So it is with the recovery of these century-old vineyard and its adjacent properties.

In firsthand let us talk about this small miracle that we are experiencing.

If it is true that we were victims of a violent fire, it is also true that we managed to turn the page, carrying all that was good from the past and leaving behind what may stay in the past.

We will explain with three points what extraordinary happened:

• Strengthening of social networks in the village and in neighboring towns and cities;

• Placing this small vineyard in the mouths of the world and administrative centrality, calling attention to an integrated vision;

• Bringing into our lives many people with the same passion for sustainable living, organic and biodynamic agriculture, for vineyards and wines, for the countryside, in general, a positive and careful view of the environment that surrounds us and of which we are a part.

What can we learn from each of these points?

Local people are the strength of this project. Without them it would not be possible to recover the vineyards. Their daily commitment and dedication has been like this for centuries and will continue to be. The great tribute goes to those who suffered the scourge of the fire and had the strength to help us and thus help them too.

From the point of view of visibility, this extreme event, related to climate change, demonstrates that a global and centralized effort is the key to overcoming what is individually unattainable. It is good to work together at different levels. The environment becomes the good guy and not the villain, it becomes the promoter of the economy and not the other way around. It is on him that we depend, on him that we live, to him we owe everything that we have.

Finally, a solidarity movement emerged in terms of sharing knowledge, experiences and the will to make things happen. Every minute was well used and well managed by those involved in the recovery of the vineyard. Universities, Associations, Viticulture Research Centres, local and central authorities, suppliers of services or materials.

It was a small miracle that came to stay and that is even better understood by tasting the wines, visiting the vineyards and sharing among all the advances achieved. We will go in an organized way, point by point to detail, explain each of these advances achieved. Stay with us.
